Dr. McQueen is an educator, and writer focused on literacy issues and their effects on children, as well as their effects on incarcerated individuals. She completed her PhD in Leadership with a focus that includes literacy interventions for incarcerated individuals with learning disabilities. She holds a MA in Judeo-Christian Studies, and a MA & BA in Music, and is a classically trained music educator and musician.
